Stannah is recruiting a Stairlift Installation Trainee for the Glasgow operations team. The role supports the installation and removal of stairlifts in customers’ homes, under the supervision of the lead installation engineer, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have basic hand tool experience, a driving licence, good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a growing, household-name engineering company based in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
• Desirable: experience in mechanical and electrical work.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installing and removing stairlifts in customers’ homes.
• Load, unload and transport equipment from depot to site.
• Support the lead engineer to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete administrative tasks including electronic forms, emails and timesheets.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and customer care.

Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Stairlift Installation Trainee to join the Operations department based in Glasgow.

This job will involve assisting the lead Installation Engineer with the safe and efficient installation and removal of stairlifts within customers’ homes, ensuring all work meets manufacturer, customer, and company standards.

As theStairlift Installation Trainee you will work Monday to Thursday 8:00- 16:45 Friday 8:00 - 15:45

To be successful as the Stairlift Installation Trainee, it is essential that you have previous experience in using basic hand tools and an understanding of health and safety practices. Experience in mechanical and electrical work would be highly desirable.

Stairlift Installation Trainee Responsibilities:

• Assisting with installing and removing stairlifts in customers’ homes
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment from the depot to site
