Job summary

Certain Advantage, in partnership with an engineering business, is seeking a Trainee Sheet Metal Worker to join the Manchester team on days.

The role offers a training pathway with the aim of moving into a permanent contract after successful training. Salary is negotiable with overtime opportunities and a 4-day Mon-Thu pattern.

You will undergo UK security clearance during the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Able to work to timescales, using own initiative both individually and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Marking out, bending/forming, drilling of thin aluminium or steels (≤2mm).
• Comply with H&S and 5S standards.
• Work to close tolerances and high-quality workmanship.
