PH Water & Air Technologies is seeking a Trainee Field Service Engineer - Water Treatment Equipment to join our growing team. We specialise in Water Treatment, supporting clients with the equipment needed to keep their systems performing at their best. This includes components such as carbon filters, water softeners, and reverse osmosis units, among others. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing this equipment, helping us to continue delivering a first-class service to our clients.

What you receive for joining us :

We offer a competitive salary of £25,397 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays : a pension and healthcare and other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing :

Assist in the install, commissioning, and maintenance of water treatment systems, including filtration, softening, dealkalization, reverse osmosis / membrane systems, chemical dosing pumps / skids, and associated control equipment (pH, conductivity, chlorine, flow meters, etc.)

Assist in planned maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and emergency callouts, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and chemical dosing issues to ensure reliable system performance

Assist in the production of clear service reports with recommendations for improvements or upgrades

Adhere to company and client health & safety procedures, maintaining safe working practicesCan you show experience in some of these areas?

Hands-on experience in service, maintenance, or engineering (ideally water treatment, but related mechanical / electrical backgrounds considered), with familiarity in pumps, valves, pipework, dosing / control equipment, and process systems

Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently

Good communication and customer service skills, with an awareness of health & safety practices (training can be provided if required)

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
