Job summary

A supportive care organization in Pembroke Dock is seeking a Senior Support Worker to provide hands-on support to individuals with autism. About The Role

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide hands‑on support to individuals with autism, tailored to their unique strengths and needs
  • Assist with personal care, meal prep, and maintaining a welcoming, homely environment
  • Support engagement in recreational, educational, and social activities
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Support Workers, promoting high‑quality care
  • Develop and review person‑centred care plans, helping individuals achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with families, professionals, and colleagues to deliver holistic support
  • Keep accurate records and reports to meet care standards
  • Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and occasional night shifts
  • A driving licence is essential
Who We’re Looking For
  • Experienced in supporting individuals with autism or in similar care settings
  • Ideally holds, or is working towards, QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • A positive, can‑do attitude with a love of teamwork
  • Compassion, patience, and a sense of humour — because no two days are ever the same!
  • Enthusiasm to develop leadership skills and grow in your career
