Overview

Are you ambitious, motivated, and ready to start a rewarding career in recruitment? Pertemps Bristol is looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Engineering to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while helping connect skilled engineering professionals with leading employers across the region.

Location: Central Bristol (with parking available)

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 | Friday 08:00–16:30

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) + uncapped commission + quarterly bonus

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn how to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Source, screen, and place skilled engineering professionals into permanent and temporary roles.
  • Support the recruitment process while providing excellent service and advice.
  • Develop skills in negotiation, business development, and client management.
  • Work towards meeting individual and team targets with guidance and support from your managers.
To be Successful
  • Ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Confident with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and target-driven, with a positive attitude.
  • Able to manage relationships and work well in a team.
  • Customer-focused, with any background in sales, engineering, or service roles considered an advantage.
  • Holder of a valid UK driving licence.
  • Recruitment experience desirable.
