Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield
Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,500 + £27,500 base salary + Commission & Loyalty Bonus

About the role

You will be a part of the highest performing sales team in the business who live and breathe the job. Thrown into cold calling, sourcing and qualifying potential candidates on a daily basis. Resourcing, pre‑vetting and placing candidates into temporary or permanent positions with our clients and reporting to the business directors, being their eyes and ears in the marketplace. Working with our consultants and management to ensure revenue and growth targets are not only met but exceeded.

About you

You will be a self‑starter, natural overachiever, with the determination to succeed and win no matter the cost. We are looking for someone with the hunger and ambition to put in the hard work and see the results. You must be resilient, not afraid of rejection and understand that success in our field takes time. Having a strong work ethic and a flair for entrepreneurship needs to be in your nature. You will be able to work independently to drive your own sales pipeline and be able to manage your own workload.

Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally Sales Experience
  • Must be IT Literate
  • Good phone manner and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to go above & beyond as this is not a typical 9-5 role
  • Good written English skills
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs
  • Must be ambitious, competitive and money driven
  • Coachable and willingness to learn
