Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a recruitment consultant to act as the bridge between clients seeking staff and candidates exploring new roles. The role is primarily sales-driven, involving daily conversations with clients and candidates, CV matching, and end-to-end candidate management.

Based near Reading, with parking on site and the option for hybrid work as you progress. Ambition, bold communication, and a drive to exceed expectations are key traits for success in this environment.

The Role

As a recruitment consultant, you are an intermediary between companies looking to recruit (clients) and people seeking a new career (candidates). Primarily a sales role, a career in recruitment can offer high rewards and quick results. You will be speaking to clients and candidates on a daily basis, matching CVs and people to jobs. You will be meeting clients, networking, using social media and job boards and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Our office is just outside of Reading Station (3 minute walk), we also have parking on site.

The Earning Potential, Benefits and Rewards

You will earn a basic salary and uncapped commission from day one. Your year 1 OTE (On Target Earnings) will be between £35,000 - £40,000. Year 2 = £45,000 to £55,000.

The Training

You will join our Recruitment Fundamentals university, a training programme overseen by our dedicated talent & development team. In this, you will receive a mixture of online, classroom and on-the-job training whilst having the support of our management team who will help you make the transition from Trainee to Consultant
