Responsibilities

Role responsibilities include:

  • Reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Carrying out manufacturing tasks such as building wiring assemblies, soldering, trimming, cutting, and crimping
  • Additive manufacturing such as 3D printing
  • Subtractive manufacturing such as drilling and grinding
  • Building and inspecting our products
  • Assembling test equipment
  • Identifying components using schematics, part numbers, or descriptions
  • Carrying out quality and performance verification
  • Basic diagnosis and repair of electronic equipment
  • Programming and configuring equipment, and installing software

The successful applicant will demonstrate punctuality, attention to detail, and the motivation required to complete the sometimes repetitive work found in manufacturing.

The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate an example of an electronic or mechanical project that they have completed of their own accord
