Position

Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based. £20,837.25 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits. You will be known as a Health Assessment Specialist and deliver high‑quality health assessments across your region. Locations: Edinburgh, Queensferry, Broxburn. Responsibilities

• Work 3 × 10‑hour shifts per week (30 hours total). Shifts can be scheduled between 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Sunday, allocated 3 weeks in advance.
• Drive up to 2 hours to the venue; public transport may be required depending on venue.
• Plan route, travel to venue, unpack kit, greet customers, and assess up to 15–22 customers per day.
• Perform health assessments including PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests, and advise on further testing.
• Maintain administration records. Results and lifestyle advice are not relayed after assessments.

Requirements

• Full UK license and access to a personal vehicle with a standard sized car.
• Availability any day Monday to Sunday between 6 am–10 pm on a rota basis.
• Computer/laptop/phone/tablet proficiency.
• Clear DBS (processed by us).
• Travel up to 2 hours away from home and occasional overnight stays.
• Live within the correct distance of the regional location.
• Attend Milton Keynes head office for first 2 weeks of training (Monday‑Friday).
• Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
• Enhanced criminal records check (covered by us).
• All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
