Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Telford and surrounding areas. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided, with a 40-hour week, potential overtime, and a varied field schedule.

You will inspect premises, address pest issues, and advise customers on hygiene and maintenance while delivering excellent service. A full UK driving licence and DBS checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C (or 4) or above is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• May require a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify potential risks.
• Swiftly tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Provide advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Complete accurate reports after every visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image at all times.
