Job summary

West Coast Motors is offering a Trainee Bus Driver role at our Ardrishaig depot. Learn on the job with our in-house training, with costs covered up to £2,500, including tests, travel, and accommodation where applicable.

You will provide safe passenger journeys, handle payments, and progress toward a PCV licence. A permanent, secure role with holiday entitlement and opportunities to develop within the company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full endorsement driving licence.
• At least one year of driving experience is required.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Trainee Bus Drivers to join our team based at our depot in Ardrishaig.

This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for a change of career. Driving through the beautiful Scottish scenery makes the perfect office view! We have our very own in-house training school, and we will cover the cost of your training up to the value of £2,500 which includes your theory and practical tests, travelling expenses and accommodation*. We will support and guide you through your training journey and provide ongoing training once you achieve your PCV licence.

• Provide excellent customer service and a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers
• Be patient and able to work confidently on your own
• Able to handle cash and card payments responsibly

Requirements:

• A full endorsement free driving licence
• At least one year driving experience
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Live within driving distance of Ardrishaig
