Job summary

Specsavers in Cockermouth is opening a brand-new store in January 2027 and is seeking a part-time Trainee Optical Assistant. You will warmly welcome customers, help them find products, and learn through structured training and development opportunities with support from experienced staff.

The role offers part-time hours with weekend work as essential, great benefits, and ongoing professional development in a supportive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Teamworking abilities and willingness to help customers.
• IT confident and comfortable with basic systems.
