A leading healthcare provider in Chelmsford is seeking a Trainee Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality care in residential settings. This full-time position (44hrs/week) involves assisting in clinical tasks, ensuring resident independence, and fostering a kind environment. Assist in tasks such as administering medicines, care of wounds, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks, under the supervision and guidance of the qualified nurse. Contribute to resident care planning arrangements, ensuring the delivery of choice and independence. Report accidents and other incidents in a timely manner, safeguarding resident wellbeing at all times.
Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards).
Minimum 2 years experience in Health & Social Care where you have been a Senior Carer or a similar position with leadership responsibilities, especially around administering medicines and leading a shift.
Knowledge and understanding of the person-led care planning process and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Safeguarding training and the ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, with the knowledge of what to do if concerns arise.
