Pertempsare recruiting for a Trainee NDT Technician on behalf of a leading testing company in the Dudley area. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a long-term career in Non-Destructive Testing within an accredited environment.

You will receive full training and development toward recognised certifications while supporting inspections on high-precision casting components.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with radiographic inspection activities alongside qualified Level 1 and 2 technicians
  • Help set up equipment, prepare components, and process digital or film radiographs
  • Follow strict safety procedures in line with internal radiation protection rules
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support calibration and traceability tasks
  • Contribute to a strong safety and quality culture
Skills & Qualifications
  • Interest in engineering, aerospace, manufacturing or NDT
  • Experience in a hands on manufacturing environment is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • No previous NDT experience required — full training provided
Hours of work
  • Rotating shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, rotating to
  • Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Salary

£25,000, with view to increase once certified
