Overview

Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy (12 Month Commission Guarantee included). An outstanding opportunity to commence a long-term career in Financial Services becoming a full time, fully employed, CII qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser working for one of the UK's leading mortgage providers, with home-based working once you have completed your first 16 weeks of office-based training.

Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Location: Initially office based for the first 16 weeks of training at our Academy Centre on Oxford Street in Manchester but once qualified, home working will be available. You will need to live within a 1-hour 30 minute commute of Manchester for easier travel in the initial training stages.

Timeline: Immediate interviews with a start date of November 2025.

Note: You are required to attend 16 weeks of office-based training in Manchester; this is mandatory and holiday during the training period will not be permitted.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on delivering quality mortgage and protection advice and sales to customers, primarily via telephone.
  • Engage with customers, secure appointments, and progress mortgage and protection applications with support from Adviser Support Teams.
  • Maintain high levels of organisation, discipline, and motivation to meet monthly production goals (writing more than 14 mortgages with protection each month).
  • Represent the company with a professional and articulate communication style to explain complex information clearly.
  • Work with dedicated training and development programs to achieve CII qualifications and career progression.
Salary, Hours & Training
  • Enhanced salary & guarantee structure during training:
    • First 16 weeks: basic salary of £25,500 per annum.
    • Months 4-6: basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30K per annum.
    • Months 7-10: basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £32.5K per annum.
    • Months 10-16: basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £35K per annum.
    • From month 17: £25K basic salary plus unlimited commission; realistic OTE of £45K+.
  • Post-training salary: guaranteed monthly commission with tiered increments; potential realistic OTE of £50K+ in the second full year.
  • Hours during training: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no holidays during training).
  • Post-training hours: mix of 9 AM–6 PM and 11 AM–8 PM, Monday to Friday; no weekend or bank holiday work required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A strong desire to work in Financial Services, particularly mortgages and protection.
  • Recent graduation at 2:1 or higher or a strong track record in sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills; ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Highly organized with a disciplined, structured work approach.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
