Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire Limited in Dundee is recruiting a Trainee Mobile Crane Operator. You’ll start as a Slinger Signaller and move through a fully funded CPCS training pathway to operate mobile cranes safely and professionally.

You must hold a full HGV Class 2 licence. No crane experience is required as training is provided, with a clear development route, emphasis on safety and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Must already hold a full HGV Class 2 (Class C) licence.
• Experience with large plant, HIAB or similar lifting equipment and other technically demanding machinery is desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety and learning; prior crane experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Progress through the Trainee Mobile Crane Operator pathway, starting as a Slinger Signaller.
• Develop skills to safely prepare, set up and operate mobile cranes across customer sites.
• Follow safety procedures, learn from experienced operators and maintain professional conduct.
