Trainee Mechanical Service Technician

Field Based, covering a London/SE Patch-Ideally Based in the Ealing (W5/W13) area

28,000 - 32,000 + Van + Apprentice Standard Training + Overtime + Private Health + 24 days leave

Mon-Fri 8:00 - 4:30 with some Saturday work roughly once a month and occasional early start/night work

Excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased Technician to join a growing business in a secure role with on the job training and the chance to increase our earnings with some Overtime/paid travel.

On offer is a varied, field based role with great industry training where you can build a long term career. You will be paired up with an experienced colleague to learn from plus the company enroll Technicians onto Apprenticeship courses to be able to satisfy the requirements of the new British Standards.

In this role, you will be contracted to work Mon-Fri 8:00 - 4:30 with some Saturday and night work which would be paid at 1.5x. You will be doing mostly 70% maintenance on fall protection equipment with the other 20-30% being installations and fault finding.

The Person:
  • Hands on Mechanical Engineering background including operating power tools
  • Willing to work a field based service role and based West London, ideally Ealing area
  • Full UK Drivers license-ESSENTIAL
  • Comfortable working at heights
