Trainee Maintenance Engineer – North East & Scotland

Clymac are Fire & Security System specialists, delivering fully integrated Fire & Security Systems throughout the UK since 1992. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire & Security Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Manchester.

Basic Salary: up to £29,000 per annum.

No experience is necessary as our in‑house Training Academy will give you the skills you need to work in this exciting business and kick‑start your new career.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your designated area.
  • Identify defects and deficiencies in installed systems and recommend remedial actions required to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and your scheduler when planning site visits.
  • Maintain your stock levels with support from your team leader.
  • Conduct timely vehicle stock takes as required.
  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Attend engineering team meetings with your team leader and regional manager.
  • Represent the business in a professional and presentable manner at all times.
Requirements
  • Electrical / Engineering / Labouring background would be a great advantage.
