Job details

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Legionella Risk Assessor. This is an entry level position where full training will be provided, making it an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in water hygiene and risk management.

No previous industry experience is required. Our ideal candidate is someone with the right attitude, analytical mindset and willingness to learn.

This is primarily a field based role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys solving problems, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing high quality work.

What you will do

  • Inspect hot and cold water systems across a range of commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial sites.
  • Produce detailed risk assessment reports and provide clear recommendations to clients.
  • Identify compliance issues and advise on appropriate remedial actions.
  • Working alongside experienced consultants and authorising engineers while completing your training.
  • Travelling to client sites with some overnight stays where required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, compliance and quality standards.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Motivation to learn and develop professionally.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accountability.
  • The ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to doing things the right way.
  • Knowledge of water systems or the built environment is advantageous but not essential
