Job summary

A Trainee Field Technician role in Inverness is available at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. You will receive full training to locate water leaks on underground networks and work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The position is initially temporary to permanent and involves working in the water sector with on-site duties. The role requires a full clean driving licence and is based in the Inverness area, with a path toward career progression and training including Unit 2 Street Works.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey work and project work not normally associated with daily leak detection.
• Assist in completing paperwork (timesheets, survey forms, leak details).
• Possess basic computer skills; you will upload data onto a laptop.
• Hold a full, valid driving licence as you will be required to drive.

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering the Inverness area.

The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

This role is working days - 40 hours per week

This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician responsibilities:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role

Full training will be given on the following:

• Unit 2 Street Works

This Trainee Field Technician role would suit candidates with the following:

• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, Meter Readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background
