A leading grounds maintenance provider in the UK is seeking a Trainee Lead Traffic Management Operative to manage traffic operations throughout the Southwest. This full-time position includes comprehensive training and various benefits such as holiday and PPE provision. Qualifications

  • Must undertake & achieve training to attain TTMBC / 12AB / LTMO Tickets.
  • Active participation in briefings and training for safety is required.
  • Pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Trainee Lead Traffic Management Operative / Foreman Roles

Location: Staverton, Devon

Hourly rate: Starting from £12.25 with full training provided & qualifications gained to enhance your career

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday. predominately working night shifts. Weekends and overtime are available.

Role purpose

Working alongside Traffic Management Operatives, your role will involve providing High Speed Traffic Management throughout the Southwest, as required by the contracted works. The right candidates must be reliable and punctual with a good attitude to work.

We are looking for candidates who have a keen interest & can undertake Fast Track intensive training to gain full LTMO qualifications & progress in the traffic management industry. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, with opportunities for overtime. You will also be required to work night shifts which will be paid at a higher rate. Weekend work is available but not mandatory.

Requirements

  • Undertake & achieve training to attain TTMBC / 12AB / LTMO Tickets
  • Proven working TM experience in a Supervisory / Foreman capacity an advantage but not essential
  • Active participation in briefings and training to ensure all duties are carried out in a safe and sustainable manner
  • A full valid UK Driving Licence
  • HGV Driver beneficial
  • Pass a Drug & Alcohol test
  • Adaptability, flexibility and a 'can do' outlook
