Job summary

Mason Advisory Limited invites you to join its IT Consulting Academy Programme, a two-year training path to become an IT Consultant. You will train alongside industry experts and gain professional qualifications with Associate ChMC accreditation.

This is a 2‑year fixed‑term contract with a potential permanent role. Induction starts in Manchester, 5 weeks in‑person, and you will join the Manchester office for training and early deployment.

Qualifications

• No previous IT experience required.
• Graduate candidate or career changer with A Levels or a Degree.
• Interested in IT and technology with strong problem-solving skills.
• Willing to train and gain professional qualifications and ChMC Associate accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Be supported by the Academy Lead and pastoral team.
• Work with project teams and industry experts on IT consulting assignments.
• Pursue professional qualifications such as Prince II, APM and ITIL and the Associate ChMC.

What’s on offer?

The Consulting Academy Programme is a 2-year programme that will train and prepare you for your career in IT Consulting. You will learn side‑by‑side with our Industry expert IT Consultants and we will back up your learning and experience with professional qualifications and a ChMC Associate accreditation.

We’re offering a 2 Year fixed‑term contract with the potential to achieve a permanent contract at the end of the 2 year programme.

In Year 1 pay starts at £27,000 and rises to £29,000 in year 2. We also offer an annual performance bonus of £2000, 31 days holiday in year 1 and 33 days holiday in year 2 (both including bank holidays), plus benefits.

Who we’re looking for?

• We’re looking for individuals who are intrigued and curious about IT and Tech.
• We’re looking for individuals who are great at problem solving.
• No previous experience is necessary.
• You might be a Graduate candidate, or you might be someone who’s looking for a change in career, having previously achieved A Levels, a Degree or similar.

We have more than oneTrainee IT Consultant (Analyst)position available as each Academy isdelivered in cohorts. The initial 5 weeks induction is delivered in‑person from our Manchester office,successful applicants will attend the Manchester office 5 days per week during induction training.

What is the Academy and what do Mason Advisory do?

Not only do we advise businesses regarding their IT transformation needs, we also provide advice to businesses regarding business operating models, network architecture and cyber security to name a few.

The Academy will train you to understand our business, the role of a Consultant and the Consulting Industry as a whole. You will learn first‑hand how our Industry experts achieved their own careers and how you could achieve yours too.

In your first few weeks you will learn:

• Project management essentials.
• The behaviours and soft skills required as a Consultant.
• Practical Consulting tools.

During the 2 Year programme you will:

• Be supported by our Academy Leadand pastoral team.
• Work with and learn from our project teams and Industry experts.
• Gain professional qualifications such as Prince II, APM andITIL.
• Commence an 18-month Associate Level Chartered Management Consultant accreditation (Associate ChMC).
