A supportive accommodation service in Southampton is looking for a motivated individual to help homeless clients achieve their goals. The role involves assessing needs, developing support plans, and assisting clients in life skills. Ideal candidates will have good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly across multiple sites. A rewarding position where you can truly impact lives.
Southampton Accommodation Services provides supported accommodation to adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across various locations in Southampton.
Our aim is to provide person-centred support to our clients, empowering them to gain the life skills they require to move on to more independent living. We work with a range of agencies to maximise the support and opportunities for clients.
Although this can be a challenging role, it’s also very rewarding. This is an exciting role, where no two days will be the same, you will take part in various tasks, such as running client activities and life skills projects. Payment :
Paid on or around 25th of each month directly into your bank account
Pension :
Contributory pension with the Social Housing Pension Scheme
Annual leave :
25 days increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 30 days, pro rata for part time. Bank holidays are in addition to this
Probationary period :
Six months for new employees
Notice period : Four weeks
Travel :
Business mileage paid (HMRC rate)
