Job summary

Navigo in Grimsby is offering a funded training post to become a High Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapist within NHS Talking Therapies. The role blends clinical training with hands-on CBT delivery under supervision, progressing to Band 7 on accreditation.

The post combines office-based and site-based work, with a mix of remote and in-person sessions, and a structured preceptorship to support your development in managing a range of anxiety and depression cases.

Qualifications

• A BABCP-recognised qualification in one of the Core Professions identified by the BABCP.
• Experience of working in mental health services.
• Ability to write clear reports and letters to service users and referrers.

Responsibilities

• Accept referrals and assess clients for CBT and follow service pathways.
• Formulate, implement and evaluate CBT therapy programmes for clients.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and complete data collection as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and up-to-date records in line with policies.
