NHS Professionals Limited offers the Healthcare Support Worker Development programme at Torbay Hospital and surrounding areas. You’ll learn on the job, gain Care Certificate training, and receive weekly pay during a 6-month placement with potential to work with partner Trusts thereafter.

The role supports Nurses and healthcare teams, with duties ranging from daily living support to clinical tasks, while you complete the programme. Benefits include paid leave and dedicated supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old
• Must work at least 30 hours per week across earlies, lates and nights
• Demonstrate the NHS values that underpin compassionate care
• We may consider applicants with at least 3 months healthcare experience within the last 2 years
• CV updated to reflect relevant experience

Responsabilités

• Carry out duties to support nurses and other healthcare staff
• Assist in basic clinical tasks and personal care
• Support discharge processes and patient comfort
• Assist with wounds care and monitoring of pain levels
• Contribute to clean, safe and well-stocked clinical areas
