A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Trainee Health Screener to join their team in Leeds. This role involves ensuring patient comfort throughout the screening process and administering eye drops for capturing necessary images. You will also be responsible for identifying any urgent referrals needed for patients. This full-time permanent position requires a driving license and access to a car. The company values compassion and offers training through the Health Screener Diploma.
Location: Leeds – you will work across different clinic locations in Leeds. A driving licence and access to a car are required for the role. Salary: £24,523 rising upon completion of your diploma.
We appreciate that not many people know what the role of a screener is. The Diabetic Eye Screening test checks for eye problems caused by diabetes, potentially preventing sight loss. Pictures are taken of the back of the eyes to detect changes.
