Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Junior / Trainee H&S Advisor to support on a live project in Battersea, London, with base in Borehamwood. The role focuses on assisting with inspections, RAMS reviews, inductions and site safety documentation, while engaging with site teams to promote safety culture.

Candidate is likely at entry level, with 6–12 months site safety exposure and NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards). Driving licence is desirable for site travel and multi-site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular health and safety inspections and audits on live sites
• Support site teams with HSEQ compliance and procedures
• Monitor activities to identify hazards and report findings
• Review RAMS with the team
• Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks/briefings
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and safe systems of work
• Produce inspection reports and maintain safety documentation
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across projects
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations and company policies
