Trainee Food Technologist - Evesham
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Working Days: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about food quality and safety? Looking to build a career in the food industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Food Technologist to join our team in Evesham, where you'll receive full training and hands-on experience across all areas of food technology, quality, and compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with and be trained by members of the technical team to develop skills in food safety, auditing, supplier approval, quality, and customer communication.
  • Build a strong understanding of all key categories at the company.
  • Support in monitoring and managing on-site quality issues, collaborating with other departments.
  • Learn to update and maintain product specifications internally and on customer databases.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the companies processes and departments.
  • Assist with projects, product assessments, benchmarking, sampling, and supplier approval.
  • Develop skills to create, present, and maintain reports and analytical data for meetings and complaint investigations.
  • Conduct store visits to review product quality, compliance, and investigate customer complaints.
  • Support packaging and artwork projects, ensuring technical accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining BRCGS compliance, audit documentation, and follow-up actions.
What We're Looking For

  • IT literacy (Excel, Word, and database systems).
