Mattioli Woods invites applications for its Financial Adviser Academy, a 12-month, fully salaried programme designed to take you from trainee to confident, credible adviser. You will receive real client exposure, mentorship, and a clear progression pathway, with travel to Leicester for two days every fortnight and expenses reimbursed.

The academy offers a structured development plan, including R02–R06 modules, mentoring from experienced advisers, and ongoing coaching to support your long-term

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in customer-facing roles such as banking, sales, mortgages or service.
• R01 exam completed, by Chartered Insurance Institute (or equivalent).
• Clear, confident communicator with an interest in helping people.
• Detail-oriented, professional, and able to study independently.
• Strong literacy and numeracy with comfort around technical information.
• Eligible for full pre-employment checks including DBS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 12-month academy journey from trainee to adviser.
• Complete required exams and learn our proposition, processes and people.
• Shadow a senior adviser and progressively take on more responsibility.
• Receive coaching and support to build a long-term financial planning career.
