Clark James Recruitment is partnering with a premier Wealth Management firm in London to recruit a Trainee Financial Adviser. You will support a Senior Wealth Manager, attend client meetings, and progress towards full qualification with robust training and development.

The role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, regulatory knowledge, and proactive client support, with a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services.
• CII Diploma or working towards RO exams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings with Wealth Managers.
• Manage action points from client meetings.
• Prepare post-approval suitability letters and electronic submissions.
• Carry out annual and lifetime allowance calculations.
• Input client financial review data and maintain pipeline.
• Manage workflow using Asana and business trackers.
• Prepare illustrations and electronic submissions using Blue-Door.
• Perform drawdown and fund switch letters.
• Respond to client inquiries (technical and admin).
• Identify opportunities and referrals from existing clients.
• Assist with defined benefit transfers.

Due to further expansion within the team our client has an opportunity for a Trainee Financial Adviser (Wealth Manager) to join the business based in our clients London office.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to deliver first class support to a Senior Wealth Manager and their growing team, whilst continuing the path of becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager, fully supported by the company and its robust Training and Development.

Role

• Attend Client Meetings with Wealth Managers.
• Manage Action Points from Client Meetings.
• Writing Post Approval Suitability letters and Business Submission.
• Carry Forward, Annual Allowance, Lifetime Allowance Calculations.
• Client Financial Review input/updating.
• Manage Pipeline for Senior Wealth Manager.
• Analytics using FE Analytics and preparation of detailed Voyant reports.
• Drawdown Review Letters and Fund Switch Letters.
• Respond to Client Inquiries (Technical and administrative).
• Identify Opportunities and Referrals from Existing Clients.
• Managing workflow through Asana software and Business Trackers.
• Facilitation of defined benefit transfers.
• Preparation of Illustrations and Electronic Business Submissions utilising the Blue—door software.
• Critical Yield Calculations.
• Manage Outsourced Letter of Authority Process.

Candidate

• Applicants must demonstrate a professional image and entrepreneurial spirit in both appearance and attitude along with providing quality support on time to agreed standards.

• You must be able to demonstrate previous work experience within Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services.
• Applicants must hold the CII diploma or be working towards RO exams.
• High level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills.
• High standard of written & verbal communication skills.
• Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
• Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional, proactive and positive attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as working on shared goals as part of a team.
• Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task.

Package

• Basic salary £29,000 - £33,000.
