Rise Technical Recruitment is helping a client recruit a Trainee Field Engineer. This home-based role covers York, Leeds, Selby and surrounding areas. You will receive full specialist training and have clear progression opportunities within engineering.

Ideal candidates have a practical mindset and a genuine interest in developing a career in engineering; extensive experience is not required. A UK driving licence is essential, and you’ll work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• No extensive engineering experience required; practical mindset and willingness to learn are valued.
• Full UK driving licence is required; training provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out building performance testing across ventilation, airtightness, acoustic and heat transfer testing.
• Travelling to customer sites within a local patch.
• Adhering to a Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek with no call‑outs, weekends, or overnight stays.
