Trainee Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist senior fabricators and supervisors in day‑to‑day fabrication tasks
• Support in measuring, cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding, and assembling metal components
• Learn basic welding techniques
• Prepare materials and components for welding or assembly
• Clean, polish, and finish fabricated components as required
• Follow all workplace health and safety standards, including the use of PPE
• Work effectively with senior fabricators, welders, and engineers

Trainee Fabricator Ideal Candidate

• Basic mathematical skills for taking accurate measurements and performing simple calculations
• Experience or familiarity with working on mild/stainless steel and structural steelwork is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and improve skills on the job

Trainee Fabricator Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 17:00
• Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
• 45‑minute unpaid break
• 15‑minute paid break
