Job description

We are looking for a skilled Nurse to join our Epilepsy Service as a Trainee Epilepsy Specialist. We are a team of specialist nurses with expertise in the care and treatment of epilepsy and our administrative team. We offer a service to clients in Kent and Medway. We provide a link between the person with epilepsy, the consultant neurologists and the GP giving advice and monitoring medicine changes.

Main duties of the job

This is a development role where you will train and acquire specialist skills and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management of people with Epilepsy. You will have a professional development plan that is co‑written with the Specialist Epilepsy Nurse, setting clear goals within set timeframes to meet the clinical objectives.
