Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for a Trainee Service Technician (Electrical / Mechanical) to join a global windscreen wiper and wash systems specialist in Redditch. You will be trained to fault find, service electric motors, and prepare repair estimates in a workshop setting.

You’ll receive SAP training and work Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM–1:30 PM, with overtime on Saturdays at 1.5x. On offer is specialist training, progression, and a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Experience as a Trainee Electrical / Mechanical Technician.
• Willing to commute to workshop in Redditch.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, inspect and repair electric motors
• Produce technical reports and estimate repair costs.
• Receive full training on SAP, quotations and electrical repair techniques.
• Workshop-based role with an early finish every Friday.
• Overtime available on Saturdays paid at 1.5x
