An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly organised and motivated individuals to train as full-time Trainee High Intensity Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Therapist within a well established Talking Therapies Service.

Your focus will be providing excellent integrated patient centred care and treatment with an enthusiasm to undertake professional learning and develop knowledge and skills around NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) approved interventions within primary care mental health. You will work alongside exceptionally qualified Step 2 and Step 3 staff trained in a variety of modalities, to support therapy delivery for the treatment of moderate to severe depression and anxiety disorders.
Ongoing Continued Professional Development opportunities will be provided to support this important role and you will be provided with regular supervision, to enhance your skills as a practitioner. You will support the delivery of training, education and close partnership working, maintaining effective communications with both internal and external partners. As part of the role you will be expected to work flexibly to suit the needs of the service, this may include some early morning and late evening appointments.

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have:
A minimum two-year post-graduate (or equivalent) qualification in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, Psychotherapy, Counselling, or Counselling Psychology, comprising no less than 450 hours programme contact AND no less than 100 hours supervised counselling or psychotherapy practice.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
