Job summary

My Four Wheels is recruiting Trainee Driving Instructors across the UK. No previous experience is required—we provide full training and ongoing support. You’ll train through our Training Academy and help learners progress with in-car coaching.

Lesson rates typically average around £38 per hour and you can earn up to £39k per year working 32 hours/week, with higher earnings potential at 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for 3+ years
• Have no more than 5 penalty points
• Have no driving bans in the last 5 years
• No previous experience required – trainee role with full training provided

Responsibilities

• Teach learners locally within a 30-minute radius (6–8 postcodes)
• Attend Training Academy sessions and follow DVSA Parts 1, 2, and 3 guidance
• Provide in-car coaching and structured lesson plans to help learners progress
