FM Conway is looking for Trainee Drainage Operatives / Drainage Engineers to join our team based in Sandy on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Trainee Drainage Operative, you will work as part of a two-person team to carry out a range of services including cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drains. We are willing to consider applicants with no previous drainage experience, as we provide full training.

Duties of the Trainee Drainage Operative role:
  • Drainage cleaning and investigation works
  • Assisting in high-pressure water jetting
  • Attending reactive and unplanned emergency works
  • Operating the GIS Trimble unit in accordance with company procedures
What we’re looking for in our Trainee Drainage Operative:

To be considered, you must hold a valid CSCS card. Prior experience in a similar role and in high-pressure water jetting is advantageous. Additional beneficial qualifications include a street works card and a confined space ticket.
