Job summary

West Riding Recruitment is recruiting for a Trainee Garage Door Fitter in Leeds. You will work with an experienced fitter, learning installation of garage and entrance doors, and developing practical skills through hands-on training.

The role offers a comprehensive training programme, a salary up to £28,000 per year, and a generous 32 days holiday, with a twice-yearly bonus and weekday hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Live in the Leeds, Wakefield or Bradford area.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or hands-on environment (preferred).
• Confident using hand tools or have practical DIY skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of garage doors and entrance doors at residential properties.
• Learn to safely use a range of hand and power tools.
• Provide excellent customer service in customers' homes.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
