Job summary

Pharmacy2U Ltd in Leeds is offering a Trainee Dispensing Assistant role. You will learn the end-to-end FP10 journey, support the Clinical Operations team, and work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals while training for an NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification.

We provide full training, development, and a clear path to progression within one of the UKs leading digital healthcare providers. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Leeds.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to organise and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.
• Experience working in a busy or target-driven environment would be advantageous.
• A strong team ethic while also being confident working independently.
• A patient-first approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support the end-to-end FP10 prescription journey, from receipt through to dispensing and claiming.
• Assist with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support the Clinical team with day-to-day operational activities.
• Follow Pharmacy2U dispensing procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy.
• Work closely with Pharmacists, Customer Services, Purchasing and Operations teams.
• Meet individual and team productivity targets.
• Maintain compliance with legal, ethical and professional pharmacy standards.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment while always putting patients first.

Role: Trainee Dispensing Assistant

Location: Leeds (LS14) Office Based

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Contract type: Permanent

Employment type: Full Time

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
