Job summary

A local company specializing in outdoor projects is seeking a candidate to assist the design team in creating and updating layout drawings for climbing frames and garden builds. The role involves learning CAD and requires basic computer literacy, strong visual awareness, and good communication and teamwork skills. This is a temporary position with flexible working hours available. Salary ranges from £7.55 to £12.21 per hour based on age and experience.

Overview

THE EMPLOYER IS: BALLYCASTLE CLIMBING FRAMES. Support the design team by creating and updating layout drawings for climbing frames, garden builds and outdoor projects. Learn basic CAD, digital measurements and 3D layout presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and updating technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Interpret measurements, site photos and sketches to produce layout plans.
  • Maintain digital drawing archives and project design folders.
  • Support senior designers with amendments and visual presentation materials.
  • Help produce 2D and 3D visuals for client proposals.
  • Liaise with workshop and installation teams to ensure accuracy of designs.

The Employer is Ballycastle Climbing Frames. Job Start Opportunity - Working Hours: Standard hours up to 25 hours per week; Flexible/Reduced hours may be available with Work Coach approval; Additional hours may be offered depending on availability.
