PortmanDentex in Bromley is inviting applications for a Trainee Dental Nurse at The Buckley Practice. This full-time role covers 43 hours weekly with shifts across Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri and occasional Saturdays.

Starting at the National Living Wage, the position includes funded training and career progression within a supportive team. The successful candidate will learn to assist dentists, hygienists and therapists in diverse procedures while developing clinical skills in a collaborative

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English at grade A-C/4-9 or equivalent (Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2)
• Confident communicator with empathetic, service-focused approach
• Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting dentists, hygienists or therapists

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists, hygienists or therapists in a wide range of procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and support throughout procedures and chairside care.
• Support with room setup, instrument handling, and infection control procedures.
