PortmanDentex is offering a Trainee Dental Nurse position at City Bridge Dental & Implant Clinic in Winchester. Join a friendly, professional team and receive funded training to qualify as a dental nurse. Full-time hours: Mon-Thu 8:00–17:20, Fri 8:00–16:25.

You will assist dentists, hygienists and therapists across procedures, providing patient care in a modern private practice. Parking nearby and clear opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A-C (4-9) or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a dental nursing role with multiple procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support dentists, hygienists and therapists across a range of procedures.
• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure a clean, compliant clinical environment.
• Assist with chairside duties, instrument handling and patient preparation.

• Full-time hours
• Mondays - Thursdays 8am - 5.20pm and Fridays 8.00am - 4.25pm
• Competitive hourly rate, we pay National Minimum Wage not low apprenticeship rates

• Parking available at Park & Ride only a short walk away
• Training supported by our highly experienced, supportive team -your course will be fully funded by us and is overseen by an external course provider.

About You

We’d love to receive your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach
• Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in a wide variety of procedures
