Trainee Cosmetic Repair Technician

Leeds | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm | Full UK Driving Licence Required

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting Trainee Cosmetic Repair Technicians to join a well-respected family-run construction company based in Caldicott, Monmouthshire. With over 40 years' experience, the company is one of the UK's largest sealant specialists, operating across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Cosmetic repair is a specialist trade repairing surfaces such as ceramic, metal, wood, and glass to make expensive items look as good as new rather than replacing them.

Key Duties
  • Undertake an internal training programme from day one.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to develop hands‑on skills.
  • Prepare and make safe workspaces.
  • Develop a variety of skills across different sites and projects.
  • Contribute to high‑quality cosmetic repairs on various surfaces.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • No previous construction experience required.
  • Interested in learning and progressing in a specialist trade.
  • Conscientious with an eye for detail and colour.
  • Willingness to learn and work hard.
