Scrutton Bland, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking a motivated Trainee Client Support in Ipswich. You’ll build on accounting experience while progressing toward chartered qualification, supporting statutory statements, management accounts, and tax work within a collaborative Business Advisory team.

Ideal candidates are partially through ACCA/ ACA or AAT qualified, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Xero, and a desire to develop client relationships and professional skills in a supportive

Qualifications

• Partway through ACCA/ ACA or AAT qualified as a minimum.
• Experience in an accountancy or finance environment.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information.
• Personable and able to build client relationships.
• Ability to use initiative with technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Xero preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
• Contribute to management accounts, analyses and forecasts.
• Support tax compliance work including personal and corporate tax returns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines and share knowledge.
