Trainee Asbestos Consultant

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Asset Management team in London and the South‑East. This role offers a clear career pathway and the opportunity to work with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team at Tetra Tech.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys and perform analytical work independently across domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
• Represent the company professionally on site, engaging with clients, contractors and members of the public.
• Follow clear written procedures and practical demonstrations to ensure high‑quality work.
• Achieve and maintain security clearance for UK and international contracts on secure sites.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or trainee in the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s P402, P403 & P404 programmes.
• Minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4/C or above, including Maths, English and Science.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong observational ability.
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Training

• Initial Asbestos Awareness training and company Health and Safety inductions.
• CSCS trainee card and BOHS Proficiency modules for Asbestos.
• Ongoing mentoring from qualified expert consultants.

Employment Package
