Job summary

First Bus Bath is hiring Trainee Bus Drivers. You will train to operate local Bath services with full training and support provided. The role is full-time permanent with guaranteed contracted hours and structured rotas for stability.

Shifts include early mornings, evenings and weekends; progression to fully qualified driver occurs after training and within 12 months. No PCV licence required initially, full training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Operate local bus services across Bath and surrounding areas.
• Be customer-facing, ensuring safety, professionalism and reliability.
• Follow rota-based schedules with early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Support safe and comfortable journeys for passengers.
