Job summary

First Bus in Aberdeen is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver. No prior bus driving experience is required. If you hold a full UK driving licence, you'll receive fully paid training to become a qualified driver.

This is a full time permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and rotating shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends. You'll operate local services in Aberdeen, focusing on safety, reliability and excellent customer service as you start your career with one of the UK's leading bus

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Operate local bus services across Aberdeen to connect people with work, education and leisure.
• Deliver a safe, reliable, and customer-friendly journey experience.
• Shifts rota-based over 5 days, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• No PCV licence required; full training provided.
