Job summary

Stagecoach Aviemore is hiring trainee bus drivers. We offer fully paid training to gain your PCV licence and pay during training. After qualification, earn up to £35k+ with opportunities for overtime, at Aviemore depot.

No prior driving experience required, just a positive attitude and a full UK licence. You’ll work shifts across early, midday, late, and split patterns, with a supportive team and a focus on customer service.

Salary

• Weekly earnings up to £673 with opportunities for overtime.


• Typical annualized salary of £35,000


• Pay rate during training of up to £16.03 per hour (training will last 6 - 8 weeks)


• Annual earnings of up to £35,000 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver


• Overtime rate of up to £18.03 per hour


• Shift patterns of early, midday, late and split

What will you be doing?

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points


• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement)


• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving


• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service


• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
