Job summary

Stagecoach is recruiting for a Chesterfield depot-based trainee Bus Driver role. You will start with fully paid training to gain your PCV licence, while earning a wage. After training, you will progress to a 39-hour week, with annual earnings around £30,582 as a qualified driver.

Initially, you will be paid £14.68 per hour during training (6–8 weeks), rising to £15.72 per hour after 1 year of service. No prior driving experience is required, and you’ll join a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as a part of DVLA requirement).
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.

Based at our Chesterfield depot, located at Stonegravels, Sheffield Road. Pay rate during training of 14.68 per hour (training will last 6 - 8 weeks). Annual earnings of £30,582 following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver. Shift patterns of Rotating weekly shift patterns, alternating between early, middle, and late shifts.
