THE EMPLOYER IS: TCC NI LTDWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This entry level role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in accounting and bookkeeping. The successful candidate will receive training and support while assisting with day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations using accounting software.
  • Communicate with clients, including requesting and gathering necessary information.
  • Prepare Excel workings, including basic self-assessments for review and finalisation by the accountant.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team.
  • Support the preparation and processing of invoices and payments.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
